Since our founding in 2019, Tinks Golden Girls has developed and grown in a positive direction. We’re very proud of the diversity of our staff, and their abilities to contribute their own unique experience and skills to our success. Find out more about some of our team members below.
Tianna Gresham, MSW (Tink)
CEO/Founder
Tinks Golden Girls is something I created from different visions that I have had and molded together into this amazing organization. I always wanted to give back and empower girls. I received my Masters in Social Work because I knew I wanted to affect social change and guide youth on the path of success. I have experience with children, youth, teens, and adults. Two internships working with girls, allowed me to witness their needs that are not being addressed. Being a social work major I have always focused on helping others and motivating them to be the best they can be and that is what I am hoping to do with these girls. I love what I have done and I cannot wait to show everyone what else I can do.

I am excited to be a part of an organization with a mission that aligns with one of my passions in life; encouraging young ladies to be all that they can. I want to be able to help young girls realize their potential and importance in the world regardless of what they may hear. With bachelor's degrees in psychology and criminal justice, and now working towards a masters in clinical psychology with a focus on forensics, I wanted to expand my passions in giving back. I am thankful for this organization because it provides me with that opportunity right here in my own community, which is where I found my potential. Now I can help continue the cycle for others.

I wanted to be a part of this organization because I was the VP of a similar organization in Newark, NJ and loved it. I enjoyed giving back and loved the group of girls I had the pleasure of mentoring. I learned so much from those young ladies and I always felt "reach one teach one"

I am currently pursuing my degree in nursing. I chose to join tinksgoldengirls in light of the fact that I wasn't constantly sure of what I wanted to do in life and that was a struggle, I managed high points and low points throughout my life particularly in my preteens and young years. I couldn't imagine anything better than to demonstrate these little young ladies that theirs light on the opposite side of your sadness and anything you're experiencing and regardless of whether your an upbeat young lady, I would simply like for you to proceed and be that light and arrive at your objectives I simply need to be somebody these young ladies can converse with and be Okay with.

I am a young hairstylist and entrepreneur with my bachelors degree in communications. Growing up, I always heard that it takes a village to raise a child. Currently, as a young adult, I now understand exactly what it means. I want to be apart of the village that helps to enlighten, encourage and push our youth to become who they are destined to be and much more. I want to be able to lend a helping hand, a listening ear and establish meaningful connections with the youth. I figure, better way can I do that, than joining Tinks Golden Girls ?

I received my Bachelors degree in fashion. I always say that growing up I wish I knew then what I know. I joined Tinks Golden Girls because as a mentor I have the opportunity to pour into young girls and teach them some of the things that I would've learned along the way. I think that it is very important for the youth to have positive influences outside of their parents that can guide them because it is much easier for them to go on the internet, social media or look at the tv and be influenced by the negativity advertised. Promoting self-love, self-care, and independence is something that I feel is extremely important and I am happy that Tinks Golden Girls is making it possible to do so within our community.

My name is Mahogany Summers and I earned my BA and MSW from Rutgers University-New Brunswick. I want to be a mentor because I believe every young woman needs positive and influential women in their lives. Many women have inspired and guided me and I’d like to do the same. I hope to build close relationships with Tinks Golden Girls, cultivate sisterhood, and encourage high academic standards.

I lost my mother at a very young age, and as a result it was hard to adjust to a life without her. Alongside my elder sister, grandmother , and many other women that I was fortunate to have they all took a matriarchal role which greatly benefited my adolescent year. As a young woman now, I also became extremely grateful for the guidance that helped me become the woman that I am today. Tink’s Golden Girls allows me to return that favor and be of guidance to the next young girl . I’m extremely excited to help mentor this generation of young ladies.

When I first heard of Tinks Golden Girls, I knew this was an organization I had to be a part of. Growing up in the foster care system presented me with many challenges. However, I refused to succumb to the negative statistics. I have successfully received my bachelor's degree in criminal justice with a minor in biology. With all of the experiences I have survived, Tink’s Golden Girls allows me to give back to the community. I wish to push our future young ladies to strive for success and greatness.

I have always loved working with children. Which is why I pursued and received my Bachelors and Masters degrees in English and Education. I became a teacher because I rarely saw teachers that looked like me and wanted to be a positive role model for children. As an only child, growing up I always turned to my friends and social media for advice which did not always lead me to making the best decisions. I always thought if I had an older sister or mentor, I would have saved myself a lot of trauma. Becoming a mentor for an amazing program like Tink's Golden Girls allows me to be the older sister I never had for young girls trying to find their way in life. I believe we are not only supposed to learn from our lessons in life but to share that knowledge with others. I wish to be a confidant, friend, sister, mentor, and place of support for these girls and help them see all their dreams are possible.

I currently have my bachelors in Criminal Justice as well as my masters in Jurisprudence. Growing up I never had the opportunity to be involved in such a group like this. As a minority , it’s such an advantage to have the resources and access to interact with those who have experienced similar adversities and battles you have and guide you through how to manage your way through life. I’ve always wanted to be apart of a group that had the chance to engage and build relationships with young girls like myself . Life is a hard obstacle for everyone to get through , but I want the girls to always remember “Sometimes when you are desperately in need of someone, no one will be there. Look in the mirror, see the person staring back at you , and realize you can be your someone. You can pick yourself back up. You can cheer yourself on and push yourself to the finish line”. I am super excited to be apart of Tinks Golden Girls in hopes of it being not only an experience for myself but also for the young ladies apart of the program.

My name is Bryanna Graham, but I prefer Brie. I am from Camden, NJ. I went to school at Rutgers Business school-New Brunswick majoring in Leadership and management. I currently work in property management for the federal government. Tink’s golden girls reminds me of a youth program I was enjoyed growing up and they helped me so much so I hope to help someone as well.
